As a tribute to ElvisPresley I decided to draw a picture of him in pencil. It was completed in 1978 a year after he passed away and I have had many comments from around the world about this picture and letters of recommendation on the quality of the picture. Many thanks from Todd Slaughter and Vicky Malloy from the official Elvis fan club of great Britain for the lovely letter and comments that they wrote for me. It is at the moment being looked at by P J Proby, he has it in is Winnebago and I am waiting on a letter thanking me for it.
I took the picture to David Harvard from Artists Direct in East Kilbride, Scotland and apparently he loved the picture that much he is going to write me a letter to endorse the picture. Also Freddie Star has the picture. I am so passionate about this picture I have been told by so many people that it should grace the home of every fan that loved him. The picture took me 695 hours to complete, each iris took about 26 hours as I really wanted to capture his mesmerising eyes. I am told by many people that it is unique as, for example, if you where to type into Google “hand drawn pictures of Elvis Presley on porcelain” there is hardly anything worldwide which astounds me. I could only find one hand drawn sketch.
There is a great deal of interest in this picture from people in the Elvis industry and the comments I have do make me feel very proud. I have embossed the picture and I sign them personally. I also have had the picture printed onto some mugs and plates and tee shirts, in fact there are so many things that it can go it never ceases to amaze me.
I have sold quiet a lot of items, Martin Fox from www.starking.com is taking the picture to Canada next week and he is going to wear the tee shirt in front of some celebrity fans of his which I am very proud of.
This is your opportunity to own a signed copy of this picture and have it printed on items of your choice so that the Spirit of Elvis can be with you every day.
